Well done to Mia Byrne, Charlee Holt and Aoibhe Walsh in TY who achieved an Order of Merit for their poster "Are People Similar to Their Descriptions Provided by Their Star Signs?” in a CSO competition. They finished in the top 15 in the country! A fantastic achievement!

Congratulations to all our swimmers who took part in this weeks Loreto Swim Gala. Hannah Mulloy won gold in U16 Butterfly, Ella Solaja came 1st in U16 Freestyle, Aine O Neill came 2nd in U 16 Backstroke and Ciara Pepper came 2nd in U19 Butterfly. Our relay team won the U19 freestyle Relay, a great achievement considering 3 of the girls were still eligible for U16. Please click the link to the gallery to see all photos from the day,

Please see attached the sports on at lunch times for the summer terms. All timetables have been displayed in base classrooms. Sports is open for all students.

From Monday 28th of March we will switch to our Summer Timetable. Due to hockey finals still being payed the hockey schedule will not start until Monday 4th of April. For the hockey schedule you go to your group applicable to next year. So 1st Yrs become Minors, 2nd Yrs will be Junior, 3rd / 4th yrs will be Junior or Senior dependant on age and all 5th / 6th Yrs will be Senior. For tennis you stay within your age range for this year. All 1st and 2nd Yrs are Minor. If you have any queries on this please email me on jbrock@loretofoxrock.ie. The lunch time schedule will be published here and put up in classrooms on Monday. Lunch time activities will include social tennis, soccer, table tennis and hockey. All timetables have been put up in the base classrooms and noticeboards. If you would like to join ANY of the sports you can still come along on the day. All other non sporting activities at lunch time will stay the same.

5C would like to say a massive thank you everyone who donated and bought a daffodil pin for Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. They raised a fantastic €576.90. Well done to the girls involved.

Congratulations to our Sports Stars of the month for January and February. January stars are Erica Field - Minor Dub Football, Lauren Boothman - U16 Dublin Football. Daffodil Day

This Friday, the 25th of March, is Daffodil Day. 5C will be selling Daffodil pins in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in the morning and at break time that day for €3 each near the front entrance of the school. We are asking everyone to help support this worthy cause if you can. All donations, no matter how great or small are appreciated and make a huge difference. Thank you

Congratulations to Lauryn Healy (1st year) who was crowned All Ireland U 15 Girls High Jump Champion over the weekend. She recorded an amazing 1.58m at the National Juvenile Championships in Athlone. A fantastic achievement.
