Easter Reports – 1st, 2nd & 5th Year Students
Created : 11 Apr 2025, 12:49 PM
Archived : 18 Apr 2025, 1:00 AM

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As part of our whole-school approach to assessment, all 1st, 2nd and 5th Year students are receiving a continuous assessment report at Easter.

These reports are now available to view on Vsware.

Reports contain a grade which is based on continuous assessment of students’ work (e.g. tests, assignments, classwork, homework). The criteria for grades have been communicated to students by their individual subject teachers.

A teacher comment also appears on the report and is formative, focusing on how students are managing their learning. The comments may refer to such areas as steps that can be taken to improve learning and how to prepare for summer exams.

As we approach the final weeks of the school year and summer exams, the report is also designed to facilitate conversations between parents/guardians and students about how they are managing their learning and study.

Wishing you all an enjoyable Easter break.

Kind regards,
Suzanne Lea
Leader of Teaching and Learning

Dear Parents and Guardians

I wish to inform you of my intention to retire at the end of this academic year.  It has been a great privilege and an honour to have been Principal of the school since 2012.  Loreto College Foxrock is a wonderful school with a great community spirit.

I will be in touch again before the end of the year but for today, I wish to thank you for your ongoing support which has enabled the school and the students to flourish.
