6th Year Irish Oral Workshop

As part of our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations, our 6th Year Gaeilge students participated in a workshop to help prepare them for their upcoming Irish oral exams. As well as helping them with their sraithphictiúir/picture sequences, the workshop was highly entertaining. The following is a message from the parish of Foxrock Church. We are holding a vigil in the Church on Thursday 6th of January from 8pm-1am for Aoife Beary. The doors will be open for everyone to be together, to honour Aoife's bravery and to console each other. We would like to extend the invitation to any of our staff, students, parents or past pupils.

Congratulations to all our students who have been awarded Sports Star of the Month awards since September. We are all very proud of your commitment and achievements in sport. You can view all our winners in the gallery. To all our parents thank you for your continued support in encouraging your child to take part and play sport in school, we all see the benefits of keeping your daughter active and engaged. To all our Students, thank you for your hard work, dedication and commitment to sport in Loreto College Foxrock. It is a huge part of our school lives and we are so proud of each and everyone of you. Reindeer Run 2021

Our fun Reindeer run /walk will take place on Tuesday 21st of December. Each class group will take part and either walk or run in their class group. They will then come back to school and have a Christmas Party in their base classroom and will then get the chance to watch the recording of our Christmas Concert. All year groups must dress in the following them 6th Yr - Reindeers 5th Yr - Santas TY - Elves 3rd Yr - Reindeers 2nd Yr - Santas 1st Yr - Elves Don't forget your goodies!!!
TY Christmas Trees

This year our TY Students are once again doing their Christmas Trees for charity. The 4 charities this year are, Barnardos Childrens Charity, St Josephs Dementia Centre, Saoirse Womens Refuge and the Peter Mc Verry Trust. We would ask any Student who would like to donate a present to please place them under their chosen tree.
