"May the god who created a world of diversity and vibrancy, go with us as we embrace life in all its fullness"
This evening the Islamic community will break their final day of fast after fasting the holy month of Ramadan. To mark this annual achievement they will have a celebration tomorrow called Eid el Fitr which translates to the “celebration of breaking the fast”. We would like to wish the Muslim community in the school and worldwide a happy and blessed Eid. And for those of us who aren't celebrating, we hope you all have a great day tomorrow .

Each May we look forward to meeting our incoming 1st Years, prospective students and their families at our Open Day. We unfortunately cannot host this event this year, in line with public health guidelines, so we have put together a short video to give our prospective students a taste of life in OLS. The link is also on our website and you are welcome to share it with anyone who may be interested. Thanks to all who took part! All filming was in line with Covid protocols and other images are included from a pre-Covid OLS!

Thank you to parents who participated in the Our Lady's School Parent Focus Group in December 2020. As part of our School-Self Evaluation for 2020-2021 we are now reaching out to parents to once again respond to some questions. This will help us to evaluate our progress in our school improvement targets.
Before completing this survey, you might take a few moments to familiarise yourself once again with the SSE Section of the olschool.ie website. Here you will find a set of Brief Guides explaining the process of School Self Evaluation and our specific targets for school improvement this year. olschool.ie/curriculum/school-self-evaluation/

Interfaith and Cultural Week.

Today we began Our Lady’s first Interfaith and Cultural Week. The theme we have chosen is “Celebrate Diversity”. During the week we will celebrate and be proud of the broad heritages, religious faiths and diverse family units within our school community.
We are all part of God’s creation. How we treat others, the world around us and how we look at ourselves, these are the ways we can live in harmony with God’s creation.
During the week students and staff are invited to take part in a Cultural treasure hunt around the school starting today. Collect your clues from the display board in reception and enjoy a lunchtime activity. Prizes for the winning entries!!
Enjoy!
