Leaving Certificate Results and CAO offers schedule

Best of luck to everyone in the LC exams. The Department of Education has now stated that the Leaving Certificate results for 2021 are expected to issue directly to candidates through the Candidate Self Service Portal on Friday 3 September. In any subject where a candidate sits the examination and opts to receive Accredited Grades, they will be credited with the better of the two results. The CAO has also released the 2021 offers schedule: Round One:Offer Date: 7th September, 2021 from 14:00 Reply Date: 13th September, 2021 by 15:00 Round Two: Offer Date: 20th September, 2021 from 10:00 Reply Date: 22nd September, 2021 by 15:00 Round Three: Offer Date: 28th September, 2021 from 10:00 Reply Date: 30th September, 2021 by 15:00 Round Four: Offer Date: 5th October, 2021 from 10:00 Reply Date: 7th October, 2021 by 15:00 Round Five: Offer Date: 12th October, 2021 from 10:00 Reply Date: 14th October, 2021 by 15:00 More information is available here www.cao.ie/index.php?page=offerdates A reminder to 6th Years to check in with their Careers Google Classroom where Ms Porter will provide further details about the LC results and college offers closer to the dates.

Never Such Innocence 2020/21 Competition Winner

Congratulations to Connie Heather, B6, who won first place in an international writing competition called the Never Such Innocence Creative Project in the 16-18 year old category. Her piece is entitled Silent Conflict, an Endless Cycle. Please look through the gallery to read her winning piece.

The Book of Hope

The idea for creating a Book of Hope was presented to the Chaplaincy Council by Sister Cara. This year has been a difficult year and has tested our faith in ourselves, our community and in our world. We thought what better way to bring light into the darkness than to create a digital presentation based on faith, hope, courage, resilience and self-care. Thank you to the members of the Le Chéile Council Chaplaincy Group for assisting in its production and to all the students, parents who contributed. A special thank you to Ms. Donlon for her master media skills. Perhaps you may find solace and a ray of sunshine to hold you steadfast in your onward journey. Have a wonderful break this summer. The Book of Hope has been emailed to all students.
