Dear Parents, as you may know there was a National Pause on the school Vaccination programme due to the roll out of the Covid 19 vaccine. As of this week, the vaccination programme will resume for 1st years. As there is a large cohort to vaccinate, the HSE have decided to invite the children to attend a Local HSE clinic. All children in 1st year will receive an appointment in the coming weeks and there is no need to source the vaccine privately from the GP. Kind regards, Our Lady's School.

Well done to all on finishing your last full week as TYs. OLS was a hive of activity this week as everybody worked to get everything ready for exams, TY Graduation, and TY Night. The facilitators at the 'Fighting Words' would like to thank the B4s for their engagement in the workshop, especially those who worked diligently in the second half and shared their pieces.
Congratulations to our Sports Leadership and Active Flag students who all completed their assessments for their Level One Qualification in Sport’s Leadership this week.
Please see some notices for the week ahead.
1. A notice has been posted on the google classroom from Concern in regards to their summer programme. Your daughter has all the details on the google classroom if interested in applying.
2. We will be having 'TY Night' all day on Thursday. The plan has been shared with TY reps, who are giving students a brief synopsis of the day. Form teachers will fully explain proceedings on the day. Your daughter should have something to write with and a device for the day, as there is no scheduled class there is no need for books, copies, etc. Friday will be the Awards Ceremony & Final Assembly, the same as previous years.
The 'TY Night' video will be shared with parents via the app that evening so they can also participate in the graduation.
3. A reminder that Gaisce applications can still be submitted for two years from the start date. When they are completed, please remind your daughter to submit her application (how to submit is outlined on google classroom)
4. Lastly, all of us here on the TY team wish all the students the best of luck with the exams ahead (timetable on google classroom). Best of luck!

Prayer service for those who have died this year.
Each class participated in a Bereavement Prayer Service on their return to school last week.
During the ceremony students were invited to hang a ribbon to recall in a special way those who have died this year.
As people of faith, we believe that death is not the end and the person who has passed is still with us in spirit; guiding and protecting us always.
When we pass by the trees adorned with symbols of love, may we remember those who have died and are still present in our hearts and minds.
