Everyday this week, for the first half of lunch, the 6th Years will be leading a Buddy Walk to help us celebrate Friendship Week. All Staff and Students are invited to join our Buddy Walks. We will meet at the Grit Pitch at the start of lunch and walk around the Active Schools Flag loop. You are welcome to join for the full first half of lunch or simply just stroll a few laps. We encourage you to talk to new people, at a safe distance of course, and hopefully make some new friends.
See you there!

Well done everyone! We are back to school a full two weeks and everyone is to be commended on their hard work and positive attitude. We have been focussing on a catch-up/recovery curriculum window to get a solid foundation set for the year after the Covid interruptions last year. Well done to all on their great effort to get back in to the swing of things from the start. Onwards and upwards from here!

HSE Update

The HSE have requested that we remind all members of the school community to be attentive to their health and to check for symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms of Covid-19 can include some or all of the following - fever (temperature of 38◦C or higher), cough, shortness of breath, any loss or change to the senses of smell or taste, headache, sore throat, a runny or blocked nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, aches, pains or tiredness. If any student develops these symptoms they must self-isolate and contact their GP for advice regarding a COVID-19 test.
Even with high population uptake of COVID-19 vaccination, it is important to reinforce the public health guidelines that still need to be followed to protect the health of all in our community, these include:
· Wearing face coverings
· Cleaning hands regularly
· Maintaining physical distance from others
