February 8th 2022.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
On behalf of the entire team at St. Augustine’s College, I wish to thank all parents/guardians of 5th Year students that attended the virtual parent/guardian -teacher meeting yesterday in such huge numbers.
I appreciate you taking the time to meet with subject teachers to discuss your child’s academic progress, learning, behaviour and attendance so far this academic year. I also want to thank you for being patient when there were some intermittent technological issues. This is a new venture for us in school and we value and appreciate your patience, commitment and working with us.
I hope that your first virtual parent/guardian -teacher meeting was of some benefit and provided you with some valuable insight into your child's progress in school. If you missed an appointment or could not attend please refer to E-Portal to obtain your Childs Christmas Results. Click here for E-Portal 87.33.24.17:8080/eportal/index.jsp
Thank you for taking the time and effort to attend zoom meetings with subject teachers to support your child’s progress as a student in St. Augustine’s College. Your continued partnership, support and engagement with the school as parents/guardians will ensure your son/daughter continues to learn, progress and reach their potential.

On a bien mangé un petit déjeuner français pendant le cours de Mme Knightly, composé des croissants, du pain frais avec de la confiture, du Nutella ,du jus d'orange et du chocolat chaud . C'était vraiment délicieux !

Dear 3rd Year Students/Parents/Guardians,
We would like to wish the 3rd Year Junior Cycle Students the very best of luck in their pre-junior examinations 2022 starting next week.
It is very important to be organised, to arrive on time and to be prepared. Stay focused and give each examination your best effort. An examination is not only a test of your academic knowledge, it is a test of your ability to perform under pressure, to remain calm and to keep positive. It is a snapshot of your learning to date and there will be time to improve going forward. It is important to rest and get a good nights sleep and eat well. A tired mind and/or body will not allow you to be at your best.
Best of luck and wishing you every success,
Michael O’Sullivan
Principal.

First outing for our under 16s who were off to winning ways against a good St. Paul’s side. It was a hard fought victory, as it was very close up to the last ten minutes when the friary boys nabbed two late goals to seal the win. @watppsgaa

Guidance
In 2021, the State Examinations Commission (SEC), as part of its digital strategy, introduced the Candidate Self Service Portal (CSSP) as a one-stop shop for a range of online services for Leaving Certificate candidates. The CSSP will be used again for the 2022 Leaving Certificate so that candidates can confirm their examination entry details and access other services such as results and appeals.
The portal opened at 12 noon on Thursday 3 February for candidates to confirm their subject entries and levels. It will remain open for this purpose until 5pm on Friday 11 February.
It is essential that they register through the Portal as this Portal will provide students with the opportunity to confirm their subject choice and levels, to also allow future access to their results and for the later stages of the process such as the appeals application process.
There is helpdesk support available at 1800-111135 or 1800-111136 between 9am to 5pm until Friday 11 February. Outside of these hours you can email candidateportal@examinations.ie
