TY5 were busy in the kitchen today with Ms O Donnell. No one ever grumbles about a crumble!!!!!!. It’s really quick and easy to make and you can use all sorts of fruit – although apple was the fruit of choice today. Its the classic and a personal favourite.

On our recent TY trip the students enjoyed time in Cahir for lunch. The students were delighted to meet The 2 Johnnies. Johnny McMahon, known better as Johnny Smacks, and Johnny O'Brien, known as Johnny B, make up the Tipperary comedy duo The 2 Johnnies. The pair are well known for their podcast, the 2 Johnnies, as well as their comedy sketches and songs which capture the uniquely funny side of all things Irish. In the words of the students they were "fair sound" and the students got to take plenty of pictures with them.

Our first year ladies football teams who welcomed @StAngelasWC to the Friary for two high scoring and entertaining games. Both matches played in a great spirit with stand out performances from goalscorers Grace Coles & Chloe Hearne️

Junior a ladies football team lost the semi final vs St. Mary’s Middleton on Monday, 5-9 to 4-5, an epic battle - the girls were savage again and really tough considering how many played last Saturday in the camogie final.

Ó Cuanaigh cuairt ar sheomra ranga Ms. McGann agus bheannaigh sé na crosanna. TY students got the opportunity to make St Brigid Crosses today. Some mastered this age old tradition very quick. Fr Cooney visited Ms McGann’s classroom and blessed the crosses the students made.
