Some of our 6th year chemistry students took part in round 1A of this year’s Chemistry Olympiad Ireland (ChOILR) exam on Saturday 29th January. Congratulations to John David White who the examiners have chosen to progress to the next stage of the competition. Only a small fraction of students who competed were chosen to progress to the Round 1B exam, so well done John David! The Round 1A exam was set at a more advanced level than the Leaving Cert, A-Levels and International Baccalaureate (IB) exams, so getting to the next stage of this competition is an enormous achievement. We wish him every success in the next stage of the competition.
Munster Schools Swimming

The Munster school championships was held on Sunday 6th Feb in the University Limerick. 11 swimmers represented St. Augustine’s College. It was an amazing day with stiff competition. The Friary students swam very well with PB's all round.

Reminder to students/parents/guardians that school will finish at 1.15pm this Monday, 7th Feb to accommodate 5th year PTM. 5th year PTM will commence at 2pm sharp. Note the 6th year Biology pre exam will run as normal after lunch.

NOTE:We encourage you download the schedule/print/screenshot the schedule ahead of Monday incase the website crashes. Note: 6th Year Pre Biology exam will be on as scheduled on Monday.
