Students may access work for tomorrow on Google classroom if it is possible for them to do so. Spike Island

87 of our TY students travelled to Cobh to visit Spike Island today. Spike Island stands tall in Cork's natural harbour just 15 minutes ferry ride from the beautiful heritage town of Cobh. The island has a dark and fascinating past. Used as an Island prison, fortress, monastery and home, today visitors can meet captains and convicts and sinners and saints as you uncover 1300 years of Irish history. With prison cells, deep tunnels, island walks and multiple museums we had a wonderful day. Looks like it really was the calm before the storm. Many thanks to Mr Cashman, Ms McGann, Mr Kearney and Ms Reynolds for travelling with the students today.
