Apologies for the lateness of this message.
In the interest of fairness to students sitting their assessments - students will only be permitted to go to their exam centre at the start of the session. We must ask any student that is studying at home in the morning to only come to school at morning break. Unfortunately due to our limited resources and space, we do not have the facility to supervise students that are not in exam centres. While this only applies to a relatively small number of students, we are seeking the cooperation of our whole school community. Students not in school for any reason should not be out and about even if explained on our App.
Many thanks.
Assessment Week 2020

Arrangements for Assessment Week 2020;
Students are welcome to study in school during any period where they do not have an assessment. Students can also study after an assessment is completed once they have handed up their script.
Where a student has no assessment in the morning (first exam block 9 - 11am) they can study at home as long as their parent/guardian sends a "late note" via the app in advance (before 8.15am). These students can only sign in between 11 - 11.25am. These students will be marked "late explained" to school as a student not present in school cannot be marked in due to health and safety regulations.
Where a student has no assessment in the afternoon (last exam block 1.55 - 3.45pm) they can study at home as long as their parent/guardian sends a "permission to leave note" via the app in advance (before 8.15am). These students must sign out at 1.25pm.
Students will not be permitted to sign in/out during an assessment block. (Other than for medical reasons, students will not be permitted to phone home to get permission to leave- this must be provided in advance via the app - before 8.15am).
Where a student has a middle block (11.25am - 1.25pm) free. they are not allowed to leave the school premises and instead must study in their base room/assessment area for that block.
Students must physically sign in/out at the school Office.
Best of luck to all our students in their assessments!

Our Response Plan for the challenge of Covid 19
Created : 29 Aug 2020, 4:35 PM
Archived : 30 Oct 2020, 12:00 AM
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Please find attached our Response Plan for returning to school from Monday 31st August.
Please take time to familiarise yourself with it and please discuss the importance of it with your student(s).
It is very important to understand that the reopening of schools is very much dependent on the co-operation of the whole school community. We are in unprecedented times. We are asking you to be patient with us as we are adapting on a constant basis to reflect the guidance from the Dept. of Education& Skills, and to help reduce the risks associated with Covid 19 in our school.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
