Dear Transition Year and Fifth Year students and parents.
Please see the attached list of College Virtual Open Days taking place around now.
It is good preparation to log on to open days as part of your college exploration. It is necessary to register for open days in most cases.
Further research on courses and colleges can be done on www.qualifax.ie and www.careersportal.ie. where details of open days are also available.
This research could be undertaken on Fridays for Transition year students who do not have work placements.
Please contact Ms. McGee or Ms. Travers with any queries.

November Remembrance Service

Dear Parents and Students ,we hope to have a short memorial service tomorrow. Every year here in the school during the month of November we remember all our staff and students who have died down through the years. We also take some time to remember our own loved ones who have died. We have invited Fr Paul O'Boyle to join us for our service. A sacred space has been prepared in front of the main office where our memorial books that contain all the names of our school community who have died will be placed for the next few weeks. The service will take place over the school intercom system at 12:45 pm. It is our way of saying that those who were once part of our community will always be remembered.

Please remind all your sixth year son or daughter to continually check Teams for important Guidance And College information.
A Guidance team has been set up for each 6th yr tutor group to ensure that everyone receives up to date Careers information.
There is so much information available to 6th year students that this is the best way to post it.
There are regular posts on CAO, Apprenticeships, College virtual open days, college Q&A's ,webinars etc as well as important deadlines that must be met in 6th year.
Please encourage your child to keep up to date with this information.
CAO is now open to apply - see teams for guidelines and information.
Thank You for your cooperation, Ms McGee and Ms Travers

Dear Parent/Guardian,
We will not have live online lessons during period 4 (12.25 - 1.25 pm) tomorrow Thursday. This is to facilitate a Staff Meeting.
Microphones;
A some minority of students have indicated to teachers that they cannot engage verbally during lessons as they do not have a microphone. All students received earphones with an inline microphone at the beginning of this school year. A small number of these earphones/microphones can be purchased in the school at a cost of €2. They will be available at the school Office from tomorrow Thursday. The Office is staffed between 9.30am & 1pm.
