Archived : 30 Jan 2021, 12:00 AM
Dear Parents/Guardians, Sixth year students have had presentations on the CAO, PLC courses, Applying for Grants and Apprenticeships. They have also had the opportunity to view a number of college talks and should be going on to virtual open days that are happening at the moment. Most of these presentations are now available on the Careers Team for students to look at again as they prepare for college. Please encourage and support your 6th yr student to open their CAO account now and add courses in order of preference. Doing this now will avoid stress in January when the mocks are the priority for students. Please see Ms. McGee or Ms Travers for help if needed. Thank You.

Reflection for the week Ahead

Archived : 25 Jan 2021, 9:38 AM
Good Morning Everybody , I hope this message finds you all well .Here is just a short reflection to start the week. Thoughts For Challenging Days As we enter a new week , we ask that we get the strength and resilience to move through the days ahead. As each rising sun brings a new day, let us be grateful for all that it can bring into our lives and be thankful for all that we can bring to this time. We ask that healing is brought to those who are ill, that perseverance in mind and body is given to those who care for the sick. For all who worry and are under stress, we ask that a gentle calmness comes to rest on those who carry this burden and may the new shoots of hope that are emerging begin to lighten the weight of our time. I hope that the week ahead is kind to you and all your family. Mr Breslin

November Remembrance Service
Created : 17 Nov 2020, 6:33 PM
Archived : 17 Jan 2021, 12:00 AM
Dear Parents and Students ,we hope to have a short memorial service tomorrow. Every year here in the school during the month of November we remember all our staff and students who have died down through the years. We also take some time to remember our own loved ones who have died. We have invited Fr Paul O'Boyle to join us for our service. A sacred space has been prepared in front of the main office where our memorial books that contain all the names of our school community who have died will be placed for the next few weeks. The service will take place over the school intercom system at 12:45 pm. It is our way of saying that those who were once part of our community will always be remembered. Mr Breslin and Mr Kavanagh.
