We only learned of this today. I apologise for the short notice. I am asking teachers to teach online for tomorrow as per the normal Tuesday timetable. School will reopen as normal on Wednesday.

Notes

Dear Parent/Guardian,
I hope this finds you well on this beautiful evening.
I am reaching out for your assistance in relation to providing explanation notes on our App. It is working very well with a few minor anomalies. Some people are using the "Parent Note" to explain absences - where this happens the system will not recognise that you have explained the absence, lateness etc. and therefore your explanation will not be recorded.
Please use the relevant notes;
Parent note - to communicate with particular people across the school, other than for the areas of the other "notes"
Absent note - explaining absences only - please send in before 8.15am to have it recognised that day - otherwise you will receive a text message informing you that your student is absent.
Late note - please send this in before your student arrives to the school.
Permission to Leave note - please send this in before 8.15am to enable the Tutor to approve the permission for your student to leave early. On a rare occasion where circumstances may change during the day or in an emergency - please send in this note at least 15mins before your student must leave our school.
Where you would like to speak to a teacher other than those on the "Parent Note" list, please phone the office 045 868121 to have them call you back. Year Heads are not in a position to deliver messages in this regard to fellow teachers.
Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation.

Dear 6thyr students and Parents,
The reply date for accepting a CAO Round 1 offer is today Wednesday 16th Sept at 3pm.

The CAO advises to seriously consider the offer you have been given as it may be the only offer you get.
Deferring your offer - Please refer to page 19 of your CAO booklet for the process - DO NOT ACCEPT THE OFFER - contact the college immediately and follow the procedure outlined in your CAO booklet.
Available Places - If you are unhappy with your offer or if you have not got any offer, please see the AVAILABLE PLACES section on the CAO website where there are over 200 courses with places available - please see video guide www.cao.ie/index.php?page=video&l=103645850
