Student and Staff 100km challenge

As part of our Healthy Living Month Students, staff and parents are invited to complete 100kms in 4 weeks (January 9th- February 3rd) You need to download the strava app and set up an account, search my name Louise Murtagh and I will add you to the challenge , you then must accept. You are allowed to walk, jog, run or hike To make things really interesting, staff have the same challenge, after the 4 weeks the total distance for each team will be added up and we will see who is the overall winner. Dear Parents/ Guardians, There is a significant increase in winter viral infections and the HSE has advised if students are feeling unwell and have a high temperature, fever cough or sore throat, they should stay at home until the symptoms have past. the information letter from the HSE is attached. Dear parents/guardians, Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. From next Monday Jan 9th 2023, we are requesting all students to keep their mobile phones in their locker, for the duration of the full school day. As a result, a good lock is needed immediately for your daughter's locker. This will help them in general with self-management of their phone use, which in turn will give students the positive mental health benefits, that such a break would allow. Thank you.

Tomorrow, Monday 19th is Christmas Jumper day in Mount Carmel! Students & Staff are invited to wear festive jumpers, earrings, Santa Hats or Hairbands, or if you prefer just your school tracksuit, in aid of @FocusIreland. The TY class will collect donations throughout the day. #ChristmasJumperDay @mtcarmel18
