Dear parents/guardians, On Thursday 2nd March we are celebrating World Book Day. If students wish they can dress up as their favourite character from a book. @mtcarmellib have prizes for the best staff & student costumes! Any student not taking part in the costume competition must wear their uniform as normal. #worldbookday

Last week some of our TY students, had a very enjoyable and informative work placement, in the Dept. of Justice and met up with Justice Minister, Simon Harris and Secretary General Oonagh McPhillips (Head of the Department). The students gained a great understanding of some of the roles available in the Department and in the Civil Service. A big thank you to both Olive Ojo from NEIC and Adeola X. Adeyemi from the Dept. Of Justice, for organising the placement. @NEIC_Dublin

A big thanks to Paula Brady and Business in the Community (BITC), for creating work experience opportunities for our students, through their 'Time to Grow’ programme. This is an education and workplace initiative for young people that will provide valuable work experience and work placements, for Leaving Cert students in Dublin.
