Congratulations to the TY Treasa class, on their recent volunteer work done, with the national youth and community organisation 'Localise'. Pictured are the students receiving their Climate Justice Certificates, from Green Party Councillor Janet Horner.

2nd year students were treated to a trip to the Museum of Literature Ireland this afternoon where they had a writing workshop and a tour of the museum! Thanks to everyone at @moli_museum!

5th Year French students were lucky to be able to meet with French judoka and bronze medallist at the London Olympics. Gévrise Emane. The school visit, organised by the French embassy, included a presentation and a Q and A session where Gévrise spoke about her career, motivation and challenges.

As part of our JCSP film-making initiative we had a full day workshop with School of Improv. The students wrote their own sketches and then filmed and edited them. These sketches will be shown in the Lighthouse Cinema next month at a showcase of work from a number of schools! @mountcarmeljcsplibrary @jcsplibraries @mountcarmelsecondaryschool @skoolofimprov
