Last week our TYs visited the Dublin offices of Invesco. This is the third year of this womens social mobility initiative and our students had a fantastic morning at the event. They had an opportunity to hear about what Invesco does and the different career paths, of those working there. The importance of both financial literacy and financial independence were discussed along with the need to put yourself forward for roles, within a company / organisation. Students were delighted to be joined by one of the independent non-executive directors, Lisa Martensson, who recounted an inspiring story from her earlier career days.

A big thank you to Jennifer Farrell for organising the event and all the staff of Invesco involved in the running of it, on the day.
