  • HOCKEY
  • It was a busy week of hockey training for our teams as they continue to prepare for the beginning of the Leinster league season which will kick off at the end of September. Our coaches spent more time working on combinations and using the pitch time to help in the decision making around team selections. The girls have put in super work over the last 6 weeks and the strength in depth across all of the years is fantastic. We are excited to begin testing ourselves against the opposition in the next week or two!
  • Next week see's our Junior teams go up against Wesley College on Wednesday afternoon in OLS, game one is at 2pm and game two is at 3pm. Until then, we will continue with our inter squad selection games.
  • Saturday Sports fixtures
  • Senior -v- Alexandra College 9am @OLS

  • Welcome back to all of our students and especially to our new 1st year group who we are looking forward to getting to know over the next few weeks and months! The extra curricular options in Our Lady's our endless so please do make sure you get involved in something as it is a super way to make new friends and learn something along the way!
  • HOCKEY
  • The build up to our hockey season began in late July when we welcomed the minor, Junior and Senior students back for some pre season training. The numbers were fantastic over the four weeks and it gave us an opportunity to arrive back to school a step ahead of ourselves in the build up to the leagues, which will begin at the end of September. We covered physical, technical and tactical work over the phase and we have seen massive benefit in this now for the last two summers we have done it. Well done to all who made it along to the sessions!
  • This week saw the return of after school hockey training and we have had great energy all week long. The coaches are busy working out the teams and we will continue inter squad games this weekend before we begin to play friendly matches against some other schools in the build up to the start of the league season.
  • CRICKET
  • A massive congratulations to Sarah Prendergast who had a busy sunmer of cricket. Sarah was selected for the Ireland U15 squad who travelled for matches in Malvern and off the back of some strong performances, Sarah is set to trial for the World Cup squad in 2025. Congratulations Sarah, a brilliant achievement!
