It's been a busy and fun first week back for our students and staff. We're looking forward to even more excitement as the school year gets under way.

Welcome back! We hope students are enjoying their first few days back at OLS. An especially warm welcome to our incoming 1st Years! A reminder to students to be on the look out over the next few days as extracurricular information is shared. A timetable will be posted on the app once the information has been compiled!

We look forward to welcoming 2nd - 6th Year students at 8.25am for their first full school day of the year! 1st Years are meeting in the Lecture Theatre by the GPA at 9am and will be with their form teacher until 9.28am, followed by timetabled classes for the rest of the day.
Students are expected to wear their full school uniform (or school tracksuit if it's a PE day). A reminder to students that the use of mobile phones is prohibited during the school day. Phones are to be kept switched off in lockers/bags, not on the person. Phones in use will be confiscated for 24 hours as per the Code of Positive Behaviour. Students also need to disable smart devices while in school.
Massive congratulations to the Class of 2024 on their phenomenal Leaving Certificate results! We are so proud of our students and teachers and the hard work that was so well reflected in today's results!

The Class of 2024 can access their Leaving Certificate results online on Friday 23rd August from 10am via the portal. For any student who wishes to do this in school, we will have devices available in Room 1 (under the arch) from 10.30am - 11.30am. Please see the attached information from the Guidance Department. We wish all our students the very best of luck!!
