Cans for Kenya
Thank you to everyone who donated cans and bottles to the Cans for Kenya appeal! We raised €65.85 and used the money to buy mathematical sets for Kiboko primary school in Kenya. Thanks so much and if you would still like to drop bottles and cans feel free to donate them over the next week. Check out the photos!
Additionally, If any of our school community has any Lego pieces that you would like to donate, please drop off at reception as we are hoping to bring some to Kenya to the Primary school also.
UCD Chinese Trip
On Wednesday the TY Chinese class went to the Confucius Institute of Ireland in UCD. The students got a tour of UCD and took part in a guzheng (Chinese harp) workshop followed by a traditional Chinese meal in which they were able to use their language skilla to order! They rounded the day off with a Tai Ji workshop to work on their inner zen! It was a wonderful day to showcase their linguistic and cultural knowledge!
