TOGETHER EVEN WHEN APART Loreto Schools do the Camino De Santiago All Loreto students are invited to take part in a virtual Camino De Santiago Challenge.Join forces with your classmates, your sports team, your parent/guardians or even your teachers to collectively walk the 770km from St. Jean Pied de Port to The Cathedral of Santiago. COMMUNITY -Every KM you complete will be added to your class or teams total distance. You can track your progress in real time using the "my virtual mission" app on your smartphone or device. You can see where you and your travelling companions would be on the live interactive map. You will also be able to see how Loreto girls from all over the country are getting on in relation to their pilgrimage. You can share stories of encouragement with your friends, family and classmates as you complete your journey Please contact Ms Keogh for further details.

Congratulations to Hilary and Henrietta Igbinomwanhia from 6th Year who took part in the trials for the Team Ireland Schools' debating. Hilary was selected from the Leinster and Ulster trial to go forward for national trials for the Irish Schools' debating team. The girls went through a gruelling day of online debating and should be commended for their hard work and ongoing achievements in debating.

A huge congratulations to Jen Hamill (5th YR) who has been selected for the Leinster U18 Hockey Squad. Congratulations also to Rebecca Carty (4th Year)who has been selected for the Leinster U16 Hockey Squad. Hard luck to Lauryn Hill who made the final panel of 24 but just missed out on selection, a wonderful achievement in its own right.

We are so proud of our 3rd Year Student Millie Downes who came in first place in Mental Health Ireland Art and Photography Art Competition. (Junior Cycle category). Millie is a talented student and thoroughly deserves her award for this beautiful picture. Here is an extract from Mental Health Ireland on Millie's entry. "We received such a high calibre of entries, and Millie’s piece really stood out to us for capturing the message of mental health, and the Five Ways to Wellbeing in such a creative and innovative way."
