The school is delighted to announce that our application for Additional Accommodation, made in November 2021, has received approval from the Department of Education.  The school has begun the process of appointing a Design Team for the project and will update staff, students and parents on developments.  As you can imagine, the completion of such a project will be some years ahead but it is hoped that students in the junior years might reap the benefits.

This is an exciting project for the school and will enable us to expand our facilities and curriculum for the benefit of our students.

The highlight of the week was the visit, in association with Poetry Ireland, of the esteemed Leaving Cert poet Eileán Ni Chuilleanáin to the sixth years where students got an opportunity to hear Eileán read and discuss some of her poems. Thank you to the English Department for organising the events.
