Holy Faith’s 1st ever Soccer Match 
The U17 team took on Coláiste Pobail Setanta on Wednesday. 
After a tough 1st half the girls took the lead in the second half, with 3 goals in 5 minutes. They finished brilliantly, with a final score of 6-0. 
Well done girls!
Thanks to Mr Hayden, Mr Cooper and Ms Owens for coaching the Soccer team.

Debating Season has started in Holy Faith Clontarf! Our senior students competed in Round 1 of the Leinster Debates in Trinity College last Tuesday. The debate topic was:' This House Would (as the EU) incentivise fast fashion companies to adopt ethical production methods.'
 
Our teams were Natalie Kilcullen and Iris Cooney; Elise Jewtushenko and Rebecca Furey who proposed the motion and Phoenix Hickson-Pitt and Rachel Casey; Cara Lynch and Zoe Kennedy who opposed the motion. All girls spoke eloquently and were a credit to the school.

Today, our school had the honour of celebrating our school foundress, Margaret Aylward, alongside four other schools. The day was filled with various activities and reflection, as we came together to remember her work within the Holy Faith Sisters and her lasting legacy.

Some of our TY started Golf Lessons in Royal Dublin golf Club Thursday. Thanks to the club for facilitating this new initiative. The girls will have four lessons over the next few weeks.
LCPE Sport Ireland Campus

5th and 6th Year LCPE students had a fantastic day in Sport Ireland Indoor Arena.  The students warmed up in the gymnastics area. Then they engaged in a number of Physiological Fitness test to measure Strength, Power, Agility, Speed and CardioRespiratory Endurance. Each student will get a report on their results and comparative norms for their age.  The levels of engagement and motivation from the students was excellent. 
TY City Outing

TY students spent the day in Dublin City doing a photography workshop and a Dublin City Tour. Thank you to Ms Rogers, Ms McGuill and Ms MacDonald for accompanying them. Despite the bad weather everyone enjoyed the day.
Oblates Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2024

A big thank you and well done to five of our 6th year students who attended the Oblates pilgrimage to Lourdes this week. Grace Doherty, Ella Foley, Tara Hayden, Nora Holden and Rachel Way have been assisting those travelling on the pilgrimage. Thank you to all parents and students for supporting their fundraising efforts.
