Well done to Ali King and Natalie Kilcullen who competed in the semi-finals of Poetry Aloud yesterday in the National Library. There were over 350 entrants and the girls were placed in the top 70. A great achievement! Thank you to Ms Conlon who has been involved with this and attended with the girls.
Congratulations to our 2nd Year debaters who competed in Round 2 of the UCD Junior Debates last night. Siofra Gannon and Lizzie Merriman proposed the motion that “This house believes that space exploration is a waste of money.” Sadhbh Lehanne and Muireann Fitzpatrick, opposed the motion. Thank you to Ms Bohan & Ms Daly who have been working with the debaters and

There is a free webinar taking place this Wednesday the 13th of November at 7pm called The importance of sleep for our teenagers. The main speaker is Lucy Wolfe and she will be giving some information and guidance around this topic. Lucy is best known for the books she has written on sleep for young children, but she has prepared some very useful material specifically for the parents of teenagers.
