A Celebration of Creativity

Last Thursday, there was a celebration of creativity when our Home Economics, Music and Art departments combined to showcase just a small amount of the pieces that have been created by students in the school. There was a wonderful exhibition and many of the students and parents visited the hall to view the pieces and listen to the music. Thank you to the teachers for bringing it all together and to the students for sharing their talents with the school community. Please go to the gallery to view the photos. 

Tennis Success

Congratulations to the Minor A Tennis team on winning the Cup final today.  There have been some excellent performances in recent weeks, culminating in today’s final against Our Lady’s Terenure. The team consisted of 2nd Years, Kate Commins, Kate O’Callaghan and Lilly Kenny Scott and 1st Years Daisy Kenny Scott, Isabella Tennant and Sarah Gleeson. 


Thanks to the parents that helped facilitate lifts and supervise matches. Thanks also to Fiona Jones and Clontarf Lawn Tennis for holding trials and use of the club grounds for our home matches. 
Intercultural Day

Last Wednesday, the school celebrated many of the cultures represented in our school. Students shared food, music, dance, clothing and language. It was a great celebration. Today we said Auf Wiedersehen to our German visitors from Regensburg. The students spent two weeks with us in Transition Year. Many thanks to the parents of TY who accommodated our German friends. Vielen Dank!

1st Year Dance Workshop

All 1st Year classes participated in a Dance Workshop today. They got to learn a new dance and have great fun. 

Thanks to our two wonderful Transition Year students Aideen Brunicardi and Emma Walsh who designed the dance and facilitated the workshop.  
Spirit Day 2024

Congratulations to all involved in Spirit Day 2024.  A great day was had by all and even queuing for icecream and chips was fun.  Well done to the teachers who braved the ducking stool and took on the students in volley ball with mixed results.  Congratulations to the 5th year LCVP group and Ms Courtney for organising all the activities and the sunshine was a bonus.

Active Schools Week

Active Schools Week took place in Holy Faith over the last week.  Each year group got involved in a variety of activities including Volleyball, Dodgeball, Rounders, Just Dance, Active Music Relay.  Students also engaged in some classroom exercises. There was great engagement from all staff and students. 

Thanks to Ms Crowley and the wonderful Transition Years students for organising it. 
5th Year Trip

5th Years had a great day out to Causey Farm last week.  The sun came out and we had a great day of dancing, playing bodhrán, making pizza, admiring the animas and finally jumping in the bog.  The students made a great impression with their enthusiasm good humour and excellent manners. 
International Girls in ICT Day

Fifth Year students attended International Girls in ICT day in KPMG. This was an opportunity for students to engage with female leaders in technology and to learn about their career paths in the area of STEM.
