1st Year Dance Workshop

All 1st Year classes participated in a Dance Workshop today. They got to learn a new dance and have great fun.
Thanks to our two wonderful Transition Year students Aideen Brunicardi and Emma Walsh who designed the dance and facilitated the workshop.
Spirit Day 2024

Congratulations to all involved in Spirit Day 2024. A great day was had by all and even queuing for icecream and chips was fun. Well done to the teachers who braved the ducking stool and took on the students in volley ball with mixed results. Congratulations to the 5th year LCVP group and Ms Courtney for organising all the activities and the sunshine was a bonus.
Active Schools Week

Active Schools Week took place in Holy Faith over the last week. Each year group got involved in a variety of activities including Volleyball, Dodgeball, Rounders, Just Dance, Active Music Relay. Students also engaged in some classroom exercises. There was great engagement from all staff and students.

5th Year Trip

5th Years had a great day out to Causey Farm last week. The sun came out and we had a great day of dancing, playing bodhrán, making pizza, admiring the animas and finally jumping in the bog. The students made a great impression with their enthusiasm good humour and excellent manners.
International Girls in ICT Day

Fifth Year students attended International Girls in ICT day in KPMG. This was an opportunity for students to engage with female leaders in technology and to learn about their career paths in the area of STEM.
Swimming Lucie O'Keeffe

Congratulations to 2nd Year Student Lucie O’Keeffe who had a success at the Leinster Long Course Championship at the weekend.
Lucie won Gold in the 800m freestyle and Silver in the 400m freestyle. She also participated in the Mixed Relay where she won Silver.
Well done Lucie.
Bronze Gaisce Hike

53 Transition years hiked Glenmalure to Glendalough and then several of the Glendalough walks to complete their Bronze Gaisce venture journey.

Camogie Success

Congratulations to the Junior Camogie Team on their 4-07 to 1-02 win today over Castleknock CC to win the Dublin County Schools Junior Title. The squad have been fantastic in every match and put on an excellent performance in today’s final. Well done girls.

Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd Year students that are involved in Clontarf Rugby Club U14s. They have had a fantastic season which culminated in winning the Leinster Metro League last night.
St Francis Hospice Fundraiser

2A presented a cheque for €2,867.45 to Ms Eimear Kellett from St. Francis Hospice in Raheny. The money was raised from the class calendar fundraiser. Ms Kellett spoke with the class about the services that St Francis Hospice offers and about the new building development that will see over 20 new, individual ensuite rooms to be built at the St Francis Raheny site. Thank you to 2A Ms Hunt for speaking with the class. Well done to everyone involved!
