Dear Parent or Guardian
There have been a number of recorded cases of Covid-19 in 2nd year in recent days. The protocols for attending school are as follows:
Students should attend school unless they have symptoms of Covid or have been advised by the HSE not to attend.
If you are aware that your daughter has been in the company of a student with a confirmed diagnosis of Covid:
Be vigilant for any symptoms of Covid including a 'sniffle' or any cough. We recommend regular antigen tests and the wearing of medical grade masks.
If you have any queries, please contact Joanne Brock jbrock@loretofoxrock.ie or phone the school directly.
I hope this gives clarity in managing the current situation,.

TY Reminder of RCSI TY Programmes 26th January 2022

Archived : 26 Mar 2022, 12:00 AM
Dear TY Students, Parents/Guardians
A reminder that the RCSI TY Programmes will take place virtually in February and March starting with the RCSI TY Mini-Science Programme on the 1st and 2nd February 2022. The RCSI TY Mini Med Programme will take place from the 28th of February to the 4th of March 2022.
Students are reminded that if they have been successfully accepted onto these programmes that they must complete the two EXCEL forms found in their class TY TEAM – Files>Documents>General>Extra TY Activities>RCSI TY Programmes.
This is to be done by Thursday 27th January 2022 as this will allow facilitation of these virtual programmes to be run within the school building and students marked as present and participating in a school activity instead of being marked absent. Students will need their school computer to be fully charged up and will need to bring in their own set of headphones the duration of the programme.
If you still wish to apply for these programmes, details of these programmes can be found under the same TEAM’s file. (The closing date for the Mini-Science programme was in December – but there is no harm in trying for a late application!)
Good luck and I hope that you enjoy each programme.
