Badminton - Get involved

Badminton is on every Tuesday and Thursday after school and Saturdays from 2-4. We have a professional coach Ray who is taking on each session and using all his knowledge and expertise to help our students to learn and improve.. Sessions are open to all students and all levels. It is a great social sport for players of all abilities. We would encourage any student who might be interested to come along and try it.

We would like to wish our 4 interpro hockey players good luck in their interpro hockey matches today. Isobel Field, Sarah Byrne, Rebecca Carty and Orla O Brien all represent Leinster today at U16, U18 and U21 level.

Another huge congratulations to our Senior A Basketball team who won their quarter final of the All Irelands yesterday. The girls now move on to the next stage of the competition in the Basketball Arena Tallaght, details to follow.

BT Young Scientist Finalists 2022

Congratulations to our students who represented the school in this year's BT Young Scientist Competition. From 1st year Alison Heeney, Evelyn Roche and Chloe Drury Byrne qualified with their project entitled: Are fidget toys beneficial to neurotypicals? From TY, Ella Cowman, Anna Daly and Zoe Moore qualified with their project entitled "Who do you think you are talking to?" which related to mask wearing during Covid 19. Well done for all 6 students on their achievements. We are very proud of you.
Mobile Phones & School Devices

Dear Parent or Guardian From Monday 17th January the Mobile Phone and Digital device policy will be strictly adhered to in school. Your daughter's phone must be switched off and stored in a ziplock bag in her school bag whilst on the school campus. We are increasingly concerned about our student's wellbeing, safety and mental health. If you need to contact your daughter please phone the school on 012895637. Please do not text, phone or email your daughter during the school day. We encourage our students to use their social time in school to interact with each without the use of devices. Devices are only permitted whilst under the supervision of their teacher. We ask for your co-operation in all of the above in the interest of the wellbeing of our students. Many thanks.
