Dear Parent Parent or Guardian Students who are isolating at home, owing to Covid, may keep up with their studies by following the work set on the Class team in each of their subjects. Dear TY Parents I hope that you have all enjoyed a restful and peaceful Christmas break and I would also like to wish you a very Happy New Year for 2022. As the new year begins the musical rehearsals will be starting up next week and I have been asked to make contact with you and pass the following request from the Pauline O'Tool, the Musical Director based in CBC Monkstown. If you can help out at all I believe firmly that you will find it a hugely rewarding experience, and opportunity to create great memories which will be something to share with your daughter for many years to come. Dear Parents and Guardians "We hope that you have all had a restful Christmas and New Year, despite the ongoing COVID pandemic. As preparations and rehearsals for the TY musical We Will Rock You will be starting next week, we are touching base with you all to see if you might be able to work with us on one of our committees. Every year, due to our large cast, we are hugely dependent on parents to help us out with costumes, hair and make-up, front of house and security. We are hoping to meet any parents who are interested in getting involved at some stage over the next few weeks to start planning and it would be great if you could send an email to pot@cbcmonkstown.ie to let us know if you would be able to help out or if you would like more information. It is going to be a challenging production this year but we really feel that it is hugely important for the students that this musical goes ahead, as it is always one of the highlights of TY for them. 1st year Parent /Teacher meeting

Dear Parents / Guardians, The Parent /Teacher meeting for 1st years will be held online next Thursday 13th January from 4.15-6.45pm. Your daughter received a letter in school today with the instructions explaining how to arrange your appointment schedule. This will take place through Teams using your daughter's account. As per the letter, access to submitting requests for appointments will close on Sunday 9th January.. Also, any student who may be absent from school, can keep up with their school work through Teams where both classwork and homework will be posted. Stay safe, Carmel McGettrick
