Dear Members of the School Community. It is with great sadness we learned yesterday, of the death of Aoife Beary (class of 2012). Aoife was one of the students who were injured in the Berkeley Balcony Collapse in 2015. She struggled bravely to recover from severe and life threatening injuries. We ask you to remember Aoife in your thoughts and prayers along with her Parents Angela and Mike, her sister Anna (Class of 2020) and her brother Tim. We pray for all families affected by the tragic events in Berkeley, especially the families of our past pupils Olivia Burke (RIP) and Eimear Walsh (RIP) and those who were present and injured at the time. May God comfort them all. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanamacha dílis. 'May He support us all the day long, till the shades lengthen, and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over, and our work is done! Then in His mercy may He give us a safe lodging, and a holy rest, and peace at the last'. (John Henry Newman)
