Updates from parent/guardian questionnaires

Archived : 12 Apr 2021, 12:00 AM
Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our questionnaires over the last two weeks. We look carefully at these to plan how we can better engage with our pupils and communicate with parents/guardians. I would like to highlight some actions we are taking: 1. teachers will assign work the night before as requested to allow parents/guardians prepare any necessary materials. 2. we will be engaging in zoom calls with classes following the February mid-term. Details on this will be posted to you next week. 3. our Board of Management has approved the change in the tracksuit top from a hoodie to a quarter zip. We will now be engaging with uniform suppliers on this. I would like to remind everyone that February mid-term is Thursday 18 and Friday 19 next week. No work will be assigned on these days.
Possible change of uniform

Following discussions at recent Parent's Association meetings we are seeking the views of parents/guardians regarding a possible change to a piece of the uniform. The proposal is to change the school tracksuit top from a hoodie to a quarter zip. This would mean that for the school year 2021/22 only the quarter zip would be available to purchase. The hoodie would still be accepted as part of the uniform but could no longer be purchased. The picture attached is a sample from another school, it is not the final design and is only intended to provide a visual as to what the quarter zip may look like. Please click the link below to vote. The poll will cease taking responses at 4pm on Thursday 11 February. forms.gle/5AJ5fvvzmKi9b3jQ6
