Computing Camp

WIT lecturers are running a computing camp for second level students this June and we thought some of your students might be interested in joining the online session. The course is aimed at Transition Year students and above but we are happy to facilitate motivated students from earlier years.
There has never been more career opportunities in this dynamic area and your students will learn learn the basics of coding in a fun and visual way by doing this free HEA funded computing camp.
The online course will be run by three WIT computing lecturers over two mornings (9:30am - 12:30pm) on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 June. No prior programming knowledge is required for this course, though participants do need a computer to work from.
If you have student groups or individuals you think this might suit, they can book their free place by registering on our website.
With best wishes

Lecturer in Computing & Mathematics
