Student Support

Dear Parent/Guardian, We hope this message finds your family well during these extraordinary times. We appreciate all the efforts that are being made to help your student(s) to engage with Remote Learning. Over the coming week teachers will be sending a message to parents/guardians to let you know that your student has not been participating in their subject since Easter. I am sure you would agree where possible that students should try their best to stay engaged with school and their assignments. While you know that your student is engaging with Remote Teaching, they may not be participating in all their subjects. Unfortunately, some parents/guardians may receive a number of messages from individual teachers. In most instances there is a genuine explanation for this. Please use the “Parent Note” facility on this App to let us know why your student may be unable to follow their timetable & how we may be able to help your student join their class. Thank you for your ongoing support. Take care of yourselves.

Unless previously contacted by our school clerical officers - our incoming Fifth Year students received their preferences for their Option Subjects. Where Mr Brennan and/or Ms Dowling liaised with individual students, they should be aware of the subjects agreed. Students unsure of their choices will be able to check their options on the noticeboard when clearing their locker on next Tuesday or Wednesday. We hope you will understand that we will not be able to confirm options subjects over the phone.
