DAY 2 The TY students had an early start today as they set out to some old ruins of the ‘old town’. It was back for a quick snack before going on the lough for some water sports Students (and teachers) played numerous games and challenges in their Kayaks. Some even went pier jumping for a quick dip! Wait, there’s more! ‘Night-line’ was next on their agenda. Everyone showed fantastic team working skills and they enjoyed every minute of it… blindfolded! Free coding workshops from DojoMór 2022, funded by the HEA, will be running online, from 10am to 1pm, on Saturday 22nd October 2022, offering a range of activities to suit all ages and interests. On the day, 24,000 students, from primary and secondary schools around Ireland, can learn to code in a fun and exciting virtual environment. This event is being supported by Munster Technological University, Atlantic Technological University, South East Technological University, Maynooth University, Dún Laoghaire Institute of Design Art and Technology Design, and Offaly County Council. Hi all, Our TY students enjoying their “Lovely Louth” trip at Carlingford Adventure Centre. Enjoying some spectacular views, water sports and spooky night-line activities #Gaisce #IrishTourism #StepsChallenge DAY 1 This week our t.y. class of 2022/23 are heading off to the the picturesque village of Carlingford. They have been so busy already completing their Gaisce award, hiking over the Cooley mountains for 28km in total! In the evening, students had time to relax and have fun in some night time activities and team bonding games. To finish off a great day, the students enjoyed a yummy takeaway outside the adventure centre. Stay tuned to find out what we get up to tomorrow

Wellbeing in Maths This week in our school, we are focusing on the amount of time we spend on our phones. Students are asked to record their daily screen time habits in their tutor copies, at the end of the week all data will be collected and a goal to try decrease their screen time will be set.

Our 6th year Business students paid a visit to the European Parliament office. They got a great insight in to the work the of Parliament and the vital role they play in passing European Law.
