The 3rd Years were involved in a Bodywhys talk today which was very informative.
Easter Treats

Paris Trip
Wishing everyone on the TY Paris trip a safe and fun time! The trip is from March 23 to 26. Thank you to Ms McGinley for organising.
Parents' Book Club
The OLS Parents' Book Club meeting is on Monday 25th March at 7.30 p.m. in the Twos Sisters pub in Terenure.
The book is Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorow by Gabrielle Zevin.

Film Screening
Oh Boy (A Coffee in Berlin)
Terenure Library is showing a German-language film on Wednesday, March 27 at 6 p.m. The title of the film is Oh Boy (A Coffee in Berlin).
The film screening series presented by Terenure Library in partnership with The Goethe-Institut Irland.

Well done to our Minor Camogie team for another win today. The girls won by a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-7 against a very strong Loreto Beaufort team. The girls have now qualified for the knock out stage of the championship with a game to spare.
Our Lady’s School Parents' Council invites you to a Quiz Night on the evening of March 21st.
This fun and social evening, hosted by the Parents' Council, will be a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet other parents from the school and further strengthen the school community.
Funds raised by the event will go towards assisting the Council support the students at the school such as paying for resources during Study Week, Cyber Week, Wellbeing Week, Graduation and many other such student centred events.
We have several sponsorship options available should your workplace or company wish to assist with this worthwhile fundraiser. Please see options below.

Bliain a 5 ag TikTok
Members of the Coiste Gaeilge attended TikTok Headquarters Tuesday morning as part of Lá na Teicneolaíochta for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
They enjoyed a free breakfast, a panel of speakers about how to use Irish in their lives and online and they had the opportunity to create their own TikTok! Check out the photo gallery.
UCD Tour
5th Years toured UCD Tuesday morning (see photo gallery). It was very informative and students enjoyed the opportunity of being on campus.
Easter Ceremony
The P5s and Ms Filaih planned and delivered a beautiful Easter ceremony. Their theme was a quote from Maya Angelou "Nothing can dim the light that shines from within." It was a lovely ceremony that focused on the story of Easter aswell as the importance of Ramadan and Lent at this time.

Wellbeing Week
It's wellbeing week at OLS! There were some wonderful events that have taken place-Friendship bracelet creations, well being talks, active walks, how well do you each other quizzes etc. Thanks to Ms Reilly for organising the wellbeing week. There was a students vs. staff dodgeball game during Monday's lunch and a students vs. staff obstacle course during Tuesday's lunch. Check out the photo gallery! Thank you so much to the ASF Class for organising all of the fun activities!
ASF Colour Run
The ASF Colour Run is tomorrow! A reminder to all participating to wear your leggings and a white t-shirt underneath your tracksuit. Ols runners are recommended. Wear sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes from paint getting in them. Our charity partner is the Special Olympics so remember to bring 5euro for the charity chosen by the TY ASF class. You can pay by card in the GPA tomorrow.
Cross Country
Well done to Róisín Hanley-Byrne who represented OLS in the Schools All-Ireland Cross Country finals in Tymon Park on Saturday (see photo gallery)! Róisín competed in tough conditions against over 100 athletes from all over Ireland.
Library Competition
Congratulations to Yajing Hu for placing 1st in the school library's Design Your Own Bookmark Competition! She won a small stationary prize and her bookmark is laminated and available at the library desk for those in need of a bookmark. The librarian was so impressed with the quality of the entries that the two runner-ups will also have their design laminated and copies available at the library desk. Thank you to all those who submitted something!
Minor Camogie winners
Well done to our Minor Camogie team who started their defence of the A Championship with an emphatic win against Coláiste Íosagáin. A great effort from the whole team to win by a scoreline of 7-4 to 1-3.
5th Year AG Science Trip
The 5th year Ag Science students went to UCD today on a farm trip.
