Students also had the opportunity to meet and talk to people working and/or studying in a number of different professions and to attend a career skills workshop. Poetry Day
Thursday, 25th April is Poetry Day! To help mark the day, the library held a poetry competition based on the theme of "good sportsmanship." The winner was second-year student Aoibhe Tunney! Tomorrow in the GPA there will be a table set up for students to try their hand at "blackout poetry" which involves redacting words/sentences from a magazine article to create a poem. Join in and get creative! There will also be a Taylor Swift vs Shakespeare quiz available for students to try.
