Culture Week Fashion Show

What an incredible Fashion Show we had Thursday! It was an absolute triumph, thanks to everyone who attended and participated. From the vibrant colours of Ireland's traditional attire to the elegant garments of Sri Lanka, and the rich cultural heritage of Somalia and Ethiopia, each country's representation added to the beauty and diversity of the event. We were also mesmerised by the intricate designs from South Africa, the vibrant fabrics from Mauritius, and the timeless elegance of Chinese fashion. Everyone’s enthusiasm and support made today's event truly special, and we're grateful for your participation. As we reflect on today's success, we're already looking forward to next year's Fashion Show, promising to make it bigger and better than ever before. Thank you once again for making Thursday's Fashion Show a resounding success! ~Ms. Filaih

  • Hockey
  • On wednesday, our First year A team travelled away to play Templecarrig school in their second 11 a side league game. After a narrow loss in their first game, the girls were ready to win their first 3 points of the season! A solid defence and some speed in attack was the perfect mix and the girls scored a great short corner goal to win the game 1-0. Well done girls, a super win!
  • On Thursday our Minor A team welcomed Mt Sackville to Our Lady's for a minor plate quarter final game. Mt Sackville was a real test for the girls after their unbeaten league season as they play in the Minor Premier league. Despite this, the girls controlled the game from start to finish and played some great hockey throughout. It was however one of those days in front of goal and no matter how hard we tried, the ball would just not go in for us. It looked like the game was destined for shoot outs but Mt Sackville managed to score from their only short corner in the game to win out by one goal to nil. A disappointing end for the girls but they have come so far this season and will come back after mid term break ready to take on the quarter finals or the league!
  • Have a super sporting weekend!
