Dear 6th Years Please see notice below from the DES re accessing the L Cert Portal so that you can receive a Calculated Grade from 12am today. DES Notice Calculated Students Portal will open at 12am on Monday 20 July and close at 4pm Monday 27 July to allow LC and LCA (Year 1 & 2) students to opt to receive Calculated Grades.

A new text based mental health service funded by the HSE

‘50808’ is a first of its kind for Ireland, a free 24/7 text service, providing everything from a calming chat to immediate support for people going through a mental health or emotional crisis. Crisis Volunteers are available 24/7 for anonymous text conversations. The aim is to provide immediate support in the short term and connect people to resources that will help them in the future. SEC Clarification on Examination Fee Refunds

The State Examinations Commission would like to confirm that the refunds refer to the State Examination fee only. Candidates who submitted a medical Card or did not pay any fee to the State Examinations Commission are not due a refund. All refunds have been processed and the majority have been received by the cardholder. However, a small number of banks may still be processing the refunds into cardholder’s accounts. Many thanks.

The HSE has advised us that they will be inviting students who had the first round of the HPV Vaccine to attend one of their clinics over the summer to complete Phase 2. The HSE will be contacting parents/guardians directly by post. Many thanks.
