Well done to all on a busy Assessment Week! Ensure all assessments (including any overdue ones!) are submitted by 4.30pm today. A reminder to students to email your subject teacher directly if there is a difficulty around submitting any assessment. Best of luck to 5th Years who are nearly across the line but have two more assessment days to go on Monday & Tuesday! Next week, students can look forward to getting assessment feedback and wrapping up their courses in advance of the end of term on Friday! We traditionally finish the term in OLS with a series of whole-school ceremonies celebrating the vibrancy of the school year. This year, in a first, we look forward a series of virtual ceremonies to celebrate the year’s hard work! Links to live-streamed ceremonies will be sent to students’ email accounts as follows: 6th Years: 6th Year Graduation on Wednesday @6pm 1st-5th Year: Separate Year Group Assemblies/Prizegiving on Thursday @10am All students: Whole-School Academic & Sports Prizegiving on Thursday @ 1pm All students: Whole-School Final Assembly @ 10am

Leaving Certificate Calculated Grades

Dear Parents/Guardians and 6th Year Students, The Minister for Education has this evening released the publication of guidance for schools on Calculated Grades. Please see the link below for all relevant information. We await further information before the process is formally commenced. A portal is being launched for students to input their request for calculated grades and the levels of each subject that they wish to receive a calculated grade at. Creativity knows no bounds in OLS. During our final term the English teachers were blown away by the work of our students. Many students participated in our weekly writing competition, and really stretched their creative muscles. Our final winners this term are Connie Heather, B5 and Clara Wilkins C1. Congratulations ladies!
