Stress Control

HSE, Health and Wellbeing are running a Stress Control on-line programme. The programme is designed for adults but under 18s are encouraged to participate with their parents. It may be a useful programme for Leaving Certificate students and/or their parents to access support at this time. It is commencing on Monday 11th May. Darkness in to Light

As a school community, led by the 5th Years, we were due to take part in Darkness into Light on Saturday, May 9th. Even though the event can't take place we would like to raise awareness of the work of Pieta House who support those going through dark times. To help bring a little light and sunshine into all our lives, the Lighthouse mentors are running a photo competition whereby students are asked to  take a photo that incorporates some kind of light symbol and send it to photocompetition@olschool.ie by Monday, May 11th at 15.30. There is a prize for the winning entry.You can also support the Pieta House Sunrise appeal www.darknessintolight.ie/sunrise-appeal

It is the theme of this week's writing competition and we are really looking forward to the poems/stories that reflect our students' response to friendship while social distancing has become so important in everyday life.
