Your speakers from SISK would also like to commend your engagement with their talk and they have passed on a lovely email they got thanking them for the talk which is a lovely gesture. Well done on engaging with the iWish seminar on Thursday. You have gotten a lot of interesting information from all activities on Engineering week and hopefully it will help some of you with possible career ideas.

Well done to all the First Years who took part in the 'Make OLS Laugh' competition. The class who cracked the funniest jokes and will receive House spirit points is: P1!! Here are some tummy ticklers from our junior jokers to brighten up your day!
Why do we tell actors to break a leg? Because every play has a cast.
If you are ever cold just stand in a corner. They are usually 90°.
What's the best thing about Switzerland? I don't know but the flag is a big plus.
Why did the gym close down? It just didn't work out.
Why did the mushroom go to the party? Because he was a fun-gi.
Thank you, First Years!
Belated Happy World Religion Day!

Remember that while we might not be in the school building you are still in your OLS House! Keep your eyes and ears open for information from your councillor about events and challenges which will keep you connected to your house-mates, give you a break from your studies and, most importantly, allow you the opportunity to win points for your house!

Congratulations to all our students who represented OLS superbly in the BT Young Scientist competition last week: Hannah Molloy(B1) & Lucy Somers (M1), Amy McNamee (B1) & Cliodhna Foley (B1), Caoilin Dunne(B4) & Beatrice Rath (B4).

Their investigation looked at Measuring the speed of the wind: Why does the wind blow?).
