“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill Interesting thought! It's not about success or failure, but keeping going. You are midway through your week's journey and doing great. Keep it up! Take advantage of the early Wednesday finish to squeeze in something nice this afternoon!

Well done to you all on your first week back to the school grounds. You have all engaged really well and it was lovely to see you all in person again. Well done to all who engaged with the HPAT workshops on Monday and the Careers Expo last night. There was some great feedback about questions asked and the material presented was very interesting. Well done to our 14 ISL students who finished this Gaisce requirements this week. Best of luck to our 6 girls heading away on work experience to the MTU Portfolio prep week next week. Please see below some notices for the week ahead. 1. During Maths class students will be doing a project outlined by UCD in regards to engineering and sustainable materials. All information will be given to them in Maths class on Monday, they will have to find the materials they wish to use at home on Monday night. Then they will carry out the project on Tuesday. Then on Friday we will have a guest speaker from UCD to judge the entries and pick this years winner. 2. During PasCare this week students have a ePortfolio review class to make sure all students are up to date. Please remind your daughter to check her most recent work to date is published prior to Monday.. A reminder that they are due to be submitted on the 7th of May. 3. End of year TY interviews will be happening on Friday the 30th April, Tuesday the 4th of May and Weds the 5th of May. Students received the list of possible questions today and a schedule will be shared closer to the time. 4. A reminder that both record card and project for Gaisce are due on the 7th of May. if your daughter has finished earlier she can send them in before that. If she needs an extension of time that is fine also but just means the certificate and medal may not arrive prior to the end of year and will be instead presented in September of the next academic year.
