Ireland Reads is a public libraries initiative, in partnership with publishers, booksellers, authors and others under the Government’s ‘Keep Well’ campaign. On Thursday 25th February they’re inviting people of all ages to get reading. You can show your support for this wonderful initiative by pledging to read a particular amount on the day (we'll remind you when it's getting close!). As you can see from the most up to date table it's neck and neck at the moment in the Inter House Cup Competition. Points are awarded for all House Events but there are also opportunities to earn House Spirit Points on lots of other occasions. If an individual/Form makes a particularly outstanding effort in other areas of school life they may well earn some of these bonus points for their House. So get your House to the top of the leaderboard with a bit of PIP! *(PIP = Participation, Inclusivity, Positivity)

We want to wish a big ádh mór to our 4th and 5th Year teams taking part in Dúshlán, a series of 30 challenges set by Conradh na Gaeilge over 50 hours in February. They must complete various tasks such as memes, tricks, dances all as Gaeilge. Plenty of teamwork and skills required. There are lots of prizes to be won so hopefully they will be successful. Go n-éirí an t-ádh leo!

M2 brought along some of their furry friends to Pastoral Care yesterday! They certainly lifted spirits and put everyone in good form! The M2s couldn't resist taking a class photo, although not all the four legged guests had the patience to smile for the camera!
