Tomorrow, the Leaving Certificate exam in L.C.V.P. takes place in school.
I know you will join us in wishing the girls the best of luck.
Due to our involvement in One Good School, Jigsaw have been in touch to share their Youth Advocate Programme with us.
It's an amazing opportunity for young people (16-25) that are passionate about youth mental health.
There is an information leaflet attached that details all of the information. The deadline is May 1st.
GRETB is hosting an apprenticeship information day in the Claregalway hotel on the 11th of May from 10am.
At this event, they will have staff from the training centre on site to answer any questions students/ career guidance teachers / parents may have on apprenticeships.
There will also be instructors and apprentices giving demonstrations of the work of an apprentice. Apprentice providers from non-craft trades such as auctioneering, ICT and arboriculture will be available too.
Also, there will be a number of employers on the day who are actively looking to recruit apprentices and who can outline what working as an apprentice in their company would be like.
Well done to Greenfieds, Lauren O Donnell and Ms. Garrett for a massively impressive win.

Please see an update below in respect of the School Transport Scheme, which contains important information on closing dates.
The Bus Éireann portal is open for applications for school transport for the 2023/24 school year.
We are excited to introduce our new PE uniform!
Our school community has been involved in sorting through various options and designs and I'm sure you will agree that our new uniform looks excellent.
The PE uniform will be phased in with our incoming 1st years. Should girls in other year groups wish to buy and wear the new PE uniform on the days that they have PE, they will be able to do so.
Full details of uniform and other information will be shared as usual in the coming months.
We are currently consulting all members of our school community on the possibility of moving to a 60 minute timetable in place of our current 40 minute class period.
We would appreciate your opinion and if you would like to express your views, you are welcome to attend the monthly Parents' Association meeting in school at 5:30pm on Tuesday 25th April in Rosary Hall.
We have launched our brand new website.
Why not have a look on www.taylorshill.ie
Along with our school app that you have installed, and our twitter feed on @dominicangalway our website adds to our ways of sharing information and news about our excellent school.
We hope that you enjoy sharing in the success of our girls.
Some weeks ago, all 1st year students were given a letter regarding the HPV Vaccination Programme.
This will take place in school tomorrow. Please read the information sheet in this notification for all details.
