A big well done to everyone who participated in recent Connacht Schools Track and Field events.
Over 20 girls represented the school at minor, junior, intermediate and senior level across a range of events in Dangan and Athlone.
A special mention goes to Jennifer McCarthy (1500m), Michelle Nnadi (100m), Angela Cielecka (100m & long jump) and Rhian Langford-Breathnach (shot put & discus) who have all qualified for the All Ireland Schools track and field finals in Tullamore in two weeks time.

Well done to all of the students who created this publication under the guidance of Mr. Grehan.
Today, there was a lovely gathering outside room 8 to celebrate the amazing artwork completed by many girls since the start of the year.
Our special guest was Johanna Cooke (Mural Artist) who was thrilled at the quality and overall result of the work done. In September, Johanna painted some outlines to get the girls started in their work.
Well done to Mrs. Knight who came up with the idea of creating this space, to be used by students to take some time out when needed, to be creative and to spend time in the fresh air.
The girls have really benefited from this initiative over the year. So much so, it will now be an annual feature in room 8.
Congratulations also to the many girls who developed this beautiful work.
You may notice that in one picture, plans are being made for next year and the new plans to come.
Watch this space!
