Meeting for 1st Year Parents
In order to assist the girls’ transition into post-primary school, there will be a meeting for 1st Year parents on Tuesday 19th September at 7:00pm.
Representatives from Planet Youth Galway will also present at this meeting. Planet Youth is a new initiative, based on best international practice, to support teenagers; address the risk factors; and strengthen the protective factors. It is important that at least one parent of each student attends this meeting.

Today, the Department of Education announced that the Junior Cycle results will be released on Wednesday 18th October.
It is good news for our girls to finally have a date look forward to where they will be rewarded for their hard work.
When we are informed of arrangements, we will share them in school and on the App.
Meeting for 2nd Year Parents
Traditionally, 2nd Year has been one of the most challenging years for students in school. We want to work with parents to ensure that their daughters successfully navigate this challenge.
With this in mind, we will host a meeting on Thursday 14th September 2023 at 7:00pm.
It is important that at least one parent of each student attends this meeting.
TY Parents Information Meeting
There will be a meeting for the parents of TY students on Tuesday 12th September at 7.00pm.
The purpose of this meeting will be to outline the plan for the girls’ year ahead and how parents can best assist their daughters to achieve their full potential.
This meeting will take place in Rosary Hall and will end by 8pm.
Good luck to Claire Leuridan-Slevin, 5th year, who has been selected to represent Galway City Comhairle na nÓg to make a presentation to the Corporate Policy group of Galway City Council tomorrow.
Well done and we all hope that the presentation goes very well.
Our Green Schools Committee are returning to action on Monday!
New and existing members are welcome.
The first meeting of the year will take place in room 16 at 1pm and students should bring their lunches.
The committee would like to remind all students to use their reusable water bottles and our filtered and cooled water dispensers in school.
