The PTA is having a cake sale on Friday 17th May in Sion Hill from 8am until 10am in the Concert Hall. Parents and students welcome . Please come and bring and/ or buy a cake. There will be a raffle also for a fabulous cake. We look forward to seeing you there.

Congratulations to Sadhbh O' Callaghan, winning the gold medal in the Senior Walk. Also, well done to Aideen Conor winning the bronze medal. They have qualified for the Leinster finals.

We had a great day at the East Leinster Athletics Championships. Saoirse came 3rd in the Junior 800m and our Intermediate relay team came 2nd in the 4x100m. They will represent the school at the Leinster Championships in May

Margaret McCurtain joined the teaching staff of Dominican College Sion Hill in 1953 before a distinguished career in the History Department at UCD from 1964 - 1994. Historian, Diarmuid Ferriter paid tribute to Margaret on her 90th birthday, in Irish Times, Saturday 27th April 2019. 1st year student makes National Scratch final

Congratulations to R Fagan in 1st Year who has qualified for the National Final of the Scratch competition 2019 for her computer programming project on the Lifecycle of a Bear. Rebecca will be representing the school with her project on Wednesday 15th May in University of Limerick. Best of luck Rebecca!
