The girls dreamt about journeying beyond our solar system whilst watching magical illustrations & a state of the art digital LED wall as the audience embarked upon an interactive journey across the galaxy. This great show was developed with leading space industry experts & features connections for school audiences in STEAM learning.

TY’s had a very busy week last week. Many were in school on Monday for Open Evening. They were part of the welcoming committee, hospitality committee, choir, orchestra and various classrooms showcasing subjects and activities. On Tuesday they went to the Axa Road Safety Roadshow in The Royal Marine Hotel. It was an excellent afternoon - hard hitting and emotional. On Friday the girls collected for Temple Street Hospital as part of their national campaign “Trick or Treat for Temple Street”.

TY Update 30th September – 4th October There was only one thing on the minds of our TY’s last week and that was getting their Junior Cert Results (Friday, 4th October). After a game of bowling and a cuppa in Stillorgan it was back to school for all 80 girls. There, they nervously awaited Mr Killion’s arrival to the Auditorium. At 12noon results were swiftly distributed and all students were over the moon. The results were amazing but more importantly they reflected the hard work put in by all the girls and proved how Sion Hill guides each student to reach her full potential.
