The Irish Heart foundation is asking people to take on a challenge to break up their sitting time during these days of school on line . Challenge yourself to move for just one minute in every hour that you are sitting at a desk. A recent survey by IHF revealed that more than half of people working from home during Covid 19 are sitting down 2 hours and 40 minutes longer per day. ONLY A MINUTE once an hour! Parents and staff join in!

The National Dairy Council He@lthFest 2021

The National Dairy Council has organised the virtual He@lthFest 2021 for January 27th between 2pm and 4pm. All TY students are asked to check out the details of the Fair via healthfest.vfairs.com. Take the opportunity to take part in a workout lead by Greg O'Shea (rugby 7's pro player), listen to contributions made by Dr C. Murphy (Dietian), Doireann Garrihy and Dermot Whelan (broadcaster) to name but a few and of course aim to win some great prizes on the day. TY students need to register by Wednesday 20th January after which they will receive a login address and password. Students are reminded to use their school email address when registering. 5th Year students are also welcome to take part.
