Our school canteen will be open at break and lunch times serving food from Thursday 31st of August. 

Yan, who ran the canteen last year, has taken on the canteen herself and the Lunchbox Company will no longer be our supplier. Yan will be taking orders one day in advance in the canteen. Attached is the menu for week 1 which will start on Thursday. Cash and card payments will be accepted.

Fancy dress theme is witches. No need to buy any costumes of fancy dress. Just for fun so what you have at home will do. Black face paint, witches hats, brooksticks, black leggings etc.

1sr yr basketball will be in tomorrow as usual from 9-11. 

All hockey after school today is cancelled because of the heavy rain.  Students will be free to go home at 4. 

Basketball for 1st Yrs in the hall will go ahead.

1st Yr Hockey players are travelling to Loreto Killkenny on Wednesday, leaving school at 8.15. Students are to meet outside the sports hall at 8.15 and will return at approx 4. 

Please make sure each girl has a gum shieldd as without it they cannot play. Students need to wear their crested tracksuit with their school skort, white hockey top and green socks. Please bring your school jacket and layers to keep warm. No school bags needed, only hockey gear. 

They will stop on the way home for food, so some money or revolut card needed. 

The teams are streamed for the next two weeks of matches and blitzes. Changes will be made after mid term when we have had an opportunity to watch them over the next two weeks.

The Loreto Swim Gala takes place tomorrow Tuesday 17th. Entires are in and registered. There can be no late entries, please do not turn up if you have no attended meetings and not registered your name. 

The bus will leave at 8.30, students must meet outside reception at 8.15. to walk down to the bus together. You will return to school at approx 3.30. 

Please wear your full crested school tracksuit, bring your swimming togs, towel, your school t shirt to wear on the pool deck, flip flops for inside and warm school layers for after. There is a coffee shop that sells food and drink but we recommend you bring your usual school lunch and plenty of water.

This is a reminder that the 3rd year Learning Advice Meeting will take place on Tuesday next, 17th October from 4.15-6.45pm. Classes will finish for students at 3.45pm. the school bus will run at the normal time.
