Please read the attached update from the Dept of Education and the HSE on plans to provide for the use of antigen testing in certain circumstances in children who are asymptomatic and part of a classroom pod, where there is a confirmed case of COVID-19. It is important to state that the antigen tests would be administered at home by parents/guardians. The tests would need to be requested from the HSE by the parents/guardians of a child seated in a pod where there is a confirmed case of COVID-19. No tests will be administered at any time by school staff. Please read the letter carefully.

On Wednesday, the 24th of November, we want to remember Lucy O'Reilly Fleming in a special way on what would have been her 12th birthday. It is suggested that all students and staff will be encouraged to wear something light blue because that was her favourite colour. No donation will be required on this day as it is not a fundraiser. Every class will take a moment on that day to say a prayer, light a candle and have a chat about Lucy's Life Lessons which will be printed and framed for each class to display. Lucy's Dad Ian has very kindly designed a beautiful version of Lucy's Life lessons for us to use.
